Why FTN, Why Now, Why Me?

FTN for Healthcare Providers

My entrepreneurial journey started when I was just eight years old; I charged my grandma cover charge to watch the artistic performances I put on in her living room. These experiences carried me through high school as I sold jewelry, made handmade greeting cards in my early twenties, sold children’s clothing in my mid-twenties, and now my journey is far broader. I own a mental health group practice, a commercial property company, hair salon, virtual assistant company, consulting firm, and recently added author to my list of businesses.

My passion is creating, and businesses are fun to start and satisfying to operate.

Why Fix This Next?

The Fix This Next methodology that Mike Michalowicz developed was game-changing in my healthcare business. It was in perfect alignment with my personal values and business beliefs, so I knew there needed to be an adaptation for the healthcare industry. With Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs being the inspiration for the diagnostic assessment, it was sure to be well-received by her biggest following.

Group practice owners struggle because they try to balance too much. Business operations, family life, and client care all seem to fight for each other’s time on their to-do list. Although they know it’s not physically possible, it doesn’t stop them from trying to do it all. If there were only more time in the day, I could grow my business and achieve the freedom to live my life on my terms. This is what they tell themselves, but what they don’t realize is that it’s a trap.

There’s never going to be enough time in the day, and even if there was, it wouldn’t matter. The to-do list is not the problem. It’s the order in which you focus your attention on the needs of your business. This is where people get it wrong, get off track, and fall into the trap. This is why I knew I had to write Fix This Next explicitly geared toward healthcare providers.

Why Now?

2020 was a horrible year for most business owners. No one was prepared for a global pandemic or a shutdown. During that time, many consulting clients came to me at the end of their rope, wondering if they would be able to keep their doors open and achieve profitability. Even though the healthcare industry was thriving, their individual practices were struggling because they had so many issues to figure out, and they didn’t know where to start. I knew I had to help.

Why Kasey?

I followed Mike’s work for many years and implemented many of his methodologies for other aspects of my business. Being a healthcare provider myself, I understand the struggles that are specific to this industry. I know the pain points, the roadblocks, and the patterns. I have helped thousands of healthcare practice owners stabilize and scale their practices, and I’m on a mission to help you, too!

There are tons of speakers, consultants, and authors who can help strengthen systems, prioritize needs, and improve cashflow, but I have a passion for healthcare providers because I am one. I’ve been in nearly every position as those who read this blog, and I’m still going. I know how to pivot, navigate change, and prepare for detours, and it’s important to me to always take care of this community… so that’s precisely what I’m doing.

Coming up in the next few months, you will see a lot of me, and hopefully, you’ll read a lot too. My book, Fix This Next for Healthcare Providers, officially launches July 19, 2021, and I could not be more excited. Leading up to this launch, we will compile a dream team, a book launch team, influencers, and readers. I hope you become one of them. Subscribe to the blog, so you don’t miss a beat, and I’ll see you again soon.
