Kasey welcomes opportunities
that allow her to reach others and broaden her impact, such as speaking and presenting from the stage, behind the mic as a podcast guest, and through the stories in her business books. She is passionate about connecting and engaging with others, as she feels her purpose in life is to help business owners find their entrepreneurial confidence. Kasey believes that in business, like any journey, the destination is important, but what you find along the way is what matters most.
When she’s not writing, you can find her at her home near the water, either on Lake Cumberland in the beautiful state of Kentucky or on the beaches of Fripp Island, South Carolina.
The biggest barrier all entrepreneurs face is the insurmountable number of problems their business has, coupled with the lack of time to find solutions to them all. They are trapped in the mindset that they must do all the things to be successful. In reality, they only need to do the one thing that will make the most impact and move their business towards profitability.
Healthcare professionals often think...
they are ill-equipped to operate their business when in reality they are the best suited for this role because of their background and training. Healthcare professionals have the training to assess, diagnose, and treat patients to help them reach their wellness goals. Those are the same skills needed to operate a successful business. A business is like a patient, you just have to treat it that way!

Kasey is often referred to as the Fannie Flagg of business. She believes that learning to business better doesn't have to come at the cost of boredom. She finds joy in artfully teaching business lessons and strategies through simple southern stories, with a side of sass.
